Sublists are an important part of many NetSuite record types. Editable Sublists can be added to a NetSuite REST destination.
Adding a Sublist
- Create or Open an Integration with a NetSuite REST destination
- On the Target tab, select at least one Role Type
- On the Target tab of the integration click Add Child and Action Lines
- Role Type – Select the Role Type containing the desired Sublist
- Filter – By default both Sublists and transformations are shown in the list, but the filters can narrow down the returned results
- Expand the collection containing the desired Sublist
- Check the box next to the Sublist that is needed in the mapping
- Click Ok to save

Duplicating a Sublist
- Create or Open an Integration with a NetSuite REST destination
- On the Target tab, select at least one Role Type
- On the Target tab of the integration click Add Child and Action Lines
- Expand the collection containing the desired Sublist
- Check the box next to the Sublist that is needed in the mapping
- Click the duplicate button on the Sublist to duplicate

- Click Ok to save the duplication
- On the Integration tab, select the duplicated Sublist lines
Replacing a Sublist
NetSuite supports replacing all records in the Sublist with the provided values by using the Replace Sublist option. This can be useful if child records are frequently removed from the source.
- Create or Open an Integration with a NetSuite REST destination
- On the Target tab, select at least one Role Type
- On the Target tab of the integration click Add Child and Action Lines
- On the parent collection of the Sublist that will be replace, check the box in the Replace Sublist column
- Click Ok to save the setting

Updating a Sublist
- Create or Open an Integration with a NetSuite REST destination
- Ensure the Sublist has been added
- Switch to the Integration tab
- Target Lines – Select the parent Record Type
- Update Existing – Check the box for update existing
- Group By – Select the unique field(s) for each parent record

- Target Lines – Select the Sublist Record Type
- Update Existing – Check the box for update existing
- Group By – Add the following groupings
- Parent Fields – Select the same grouped field(s) from step 6
- Sublist Fields – Select the field(s) that identify a unique Sublist record (Note: these fields don’t need to be mapped to the target if you are also using a lookup)
- Lookup Fields (Optional) -If some of the Sublist fields aren’t aren’t mapped to the target because they are ids that require a lookup, you will also need to map the lookup field.
