For connectors that connect to a database on a local server either with a direct IP connection or using a Gateway, you will need to allow our Servers’ IP Addresses to allow Popdock to access your server. To protect your security, you can add firewall whitelist rules to only allow Popdock’s IP addresses. The IP addresses that you will need to allow access to are:
US Servers: 20.221.248.10 (Azure Datacenter: North Central US, paired with South Central US)
Australia Servers: 20.28.192.161 (Azure Datacenter: Australia East, paired with Australia Southeast)
Europe Servers: 52.236.160.235 (Azure Datacenter: West Europe, paired with North Europe)
Canada Servers: 4.204.190.225 (Azure Datacenter: Canada Central, paired with Canada East)
UK Servers: 20.90.83.77 (Azure Datacenter: UK South, paired with UK West)
NOTE: If your Azure Data Lake is hosted in the same datacenter region as the Popdock server or its paired region, whitelisting the IP address listed above may not be effective. This is due to Microsoft’s internal networking architecture, which uses different internal IP addresses for communication between servers within the same datacenter. As a result, traffic between these servers does not route through the public IP, and therefore bypasses standard IP-based whitelisting rules.
