In order for users to be able to export a list to Excel, PDF, or text, they must be given the export role. All export features are now enabled and disabled by a role in Security. If you are missing the export on a list within Popdock then you must have these roles, depending on the type of export you are wanting to enable for the user.
To add the export role, you will need to do the following:
1. From the main menu, select Security.
2. Edit the user or the team that needs the export roles.
3. Select the connector that the list belongs to.
4. Select Add role.
5. Select the export roles that the user or team should have.
You will need to repeat these steps for each connector that the user or team has access to and needs to export from.
The user or team will need the export roles in order to export from a list or from a widget. If you are missing the export options, you will need to grant these roles to the user or team.
Once the roles have been added, you’ll find the export options in the list.
To export to text, change the view from List to Text and then select Export.
