Starting 1 July 2024, eOne has retired SmartConnect Annual Enhancement Plans. Do not panic. This is not a big change, and eOne is 100% committed to developing and supporting SmartConnect for the next 10 years. You will still pay annually like you do now, and there is only a small increase to cover our ongoing development and support of SmartConnect On-Premise.
The Plan
You’ve been a loyal customer renewing Annual Enhancement, and we know integration is critical to your business. At your next AEP renewal, you’ll be transitioned to our On-Premise subscription plan. You will also have the option of transitioning to a discount subscription that gives you access to both On-Premise and the Cloud-based SmartConnect.

- Click to renew, and select the option.
- You’ll have access to everything you did before + a ton more added value to deliver more types of integrations.
FAQ’s
Unfortunately, no. Any customer can purchase an iPaaS bundled plan, but the eOne Transition Discount, which offers 60% off for 3 years and 20% off for an additional 3 years, is only available to customers who have come off of an Annual Enhancement Plan (AEP) and don’t already own a subscription of Popdock or SmartConnect. For example, customers who have an AEP of SmartConnect and a Popdock subscription cannot move to the iPaaS plan with the eOne Transition Discount, because they already own a Podpock subscription. In other words, if you have already purchased either a SmartConnect subscription or a Popdock subscription, you’re not eligible for the eOne Transition Discount with an iPaaS plan.
eOne is doubling down on our product investments to help companies connect all their modern business apps and migrate to their new ERP when the time is right. Adjusting prices will allow eOne to fulfill this purpose, accommodate the realities of delivering SaaS solutions, and continue to support our Dynamics GP customers for the next 10 years.
Support plans can be updated anytime and if you’ve pre-paid for your product subscription plan (Business or Premium level) and pre-pay for your support plan, then eOne will pro-rate the support plan to align the renewal of your next product subscription plan.
Yes, you will still receive the same bundled discount, for the time remaining on the discount, if you upgrade before 31 May 2025.
Yes, your upgrade will be pro-rated until your next renewal date.
SmartConnect provides data integration between business applications. SmartConnect is an iPaaS (integration platform as a service) that is designed for the technical end user, IT team, and systems analysts. The SmartConnect platform gives you control to build, modify, and manage the integrations that connect your business software together.
Yes, but just the first file you use counts as a connection towards your SmartConnect license plan. After that, you have unlimited file integration, none of which will count as additional connections for your license plan.

A connection refers to any system that you want to integrate to or from.
In slightly different terms, think through “Do I need a login for this application?” If the answer is yes, then you’ll need a connection for that in SmartConnect.
One thing to keep in mind….
Files count differently. The first time you run an integration that includes a file or folder data source, one connection is counted. After that, you’ll have access to unlimited file and folder integration without counting additional connections.
