FAQ’s

eOne is a SaaS subscription software business. Services/Products are set up on a subscription license and by default are renewed monthly.

A few of the Microsoft Dynamics GP products (Extender, Extender Enterprise, Flexicoder, Node Builder and SmartPost) offered by eOne are still available in a Perpetual licensing model. They are purchased one time and then have a 20% Annual Enhancement Plan. By renewing the AEP, one is entitled to Product Updates and Registration Keys as well as 2 support incidents per year.

Any subscription or perpetual license can be setup for Automatic Payments. The Frequency of the renewal will be setup as monthly by default but can be changed to yearly. Setting up a subscription for yearly renewal will qualify the renewal for a 5% discount.

If a subscription license is being purchased/renewed, setting up an automatic payment is required via Credit Card unless the length of the subscription is at least 1 year.

eOne Pricing Policy

When purchasing a new SaaS Subscription, a 1-year commitment is required. This means that the subscription cannot be cancelled for 1 year.

Some discounts and/or promotions that are offered by eOne may also have commitment periods on them.  This means that by agreeing to the discount, the subscription cannot be cancelled for that period of time.

eOne also offers Commitment Discounts on new sales and renewals. By agreeing to a 2- or 3-year commitment, the subscription renewal cannot be cancelled for that period of time. You will receive a discount for agreeing to this longer period of time.

Yes, you can pre-pay & save:

  • Pre-pay for 1 year and save 5% on your subscription plan.
  • Pre-pay for 2 years and save 10% on your subscription plan.
  • Pre-pay for 3 years and save 15% on your subscription plan.
  • Prepay for 1 year and agree to a 2 year commitment and save 8% on your subscription plan.
  • Prepay for 1 year and agree to a 3 Year commitment and save 10% on your subscription plan.

SmartConnect is an iPaaS (integration platform as a service) that is designed for the technical end user, IT team, and systems analysts. The SmartConnect platform gives you control to build, modify, and manage the integrations that connect your business software together.

Yes, but just the first file you use counts as a connection towards your SmartConnect license plan. After that, you have unlimited file integration, none of which will count as additional connections for your license plan.

OLEDBPer InstanceEach connection setup counts as a connection. For example, connecting to Access and then connecting to QuickBooks on-prem would be 2 connections.
REST Web ServicesPer Provider / ConnectionEach connection built in the REST Connector will count as a connection (i.e., HubSpot and Bill.com would each be one connection).
File Connection1st file connection counts, the rest are covered under that connectionWhatever your file type or file extract format is, we count the first connection and then you’re covered to use as many files, ftp connections and ODBC connections to your files as you’d like. File types could include txt (CSV, Pipe Delimited, etc.), XML, or Excel.

A connection refers to any system that you want to integrate to or from.

In slightly different terms, think through “Do I need a login for this application?”  If the answer is yes, then you’ll need a connection for that in SmartConnect.

One thing to keep in mind….

Files count differently.  The first time you run an integration that includes a file or folder data source, one connection is counted.  After that, you’ll have access to unlimited file and folder integration without counting additional connections.

No other integration company is laser-focused on ERP integration.
  3. SmartConnect provides enterprise-level functionality at a mid-market price. There are no limitations on the number of objects or fields you can integrate with, or how many integrations/flows that can be set up. Simply select your plan based on the number of apps you want to integrate and get started. Build as many integrations as you’d like – we include unlimited integrations in all plans.

It’s pretty simple:

    • SmartConnect on-premise is available in all the Smartconnect plans, but keep in mind that you also have access to Smartconnect.com in the subscription with dual-use rights to on-premise and cloud Smartconnect. This is handy if you’re thinking about moving all integrations to run in the cloud someday.
  2. You’ll receive an onboarding communication with steps to access your SmartConnect license and your license activation code on the eOne Portal.
  3. Download SmartConnect and follow the steps in the documentation to set up and start integrating.

It’s pretty easy:

  1. Purchase your subscription plan.
  2. You’ll receive an onboarding communication with instructions for accessing your SmartConnect.com account initially on the eOne Portal to do the initial setup.
  3. Log in & start integrating.
