This section covers the Upgrade process to update your Extender data and resources from a previous build on Microsoft Dynamics GP.

New Installation of Extender on Microsoft Dynamics GP:

If you are installing into an environment on Microsoft Dynamics GP where Extender was never previously installed, please see the New Environment section.

Upgrading from Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 or 2016:

If you are upgrading from Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 or 2016 and previously used Extender, please see the Upgrading from 2018 / 2016 section.

As in any upgrade process, we recommend that you use a test environment to walk through the upgrade process.  By doing this, you can identify and resolve any potential issues that may occur in the upgrade process.  A test upgrade also allows you to lean the new features in Extender before putting it into production.
