FAQ for the eOne Transition Promotions ending on 31 May 2025

Are you considering renewing your SmartList Builder, SmartView, Popdock, and/or SmartConnect? Our eOne Transition Promotions that end on 31 May 2025 are designed to provide substantial benefits for customers as they renew on eOne’s current licensing model.

The purpose of this article is to cover frequently asked questions by both customers and partners to help clarify next steps and how to get pricing to take advantage of the eOne Transition Promotions that ends on 31 May 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions

Customers who have been current on an Annual Enhancement Plan of SmartList Builder, SmartView and/or SmartConnect and have not yet been on an eOne subscription plan for Popdock nor SmartConnect are eligible to move to eOne’s iPaaS Plan with the eOne Transition Promotion.

Moving to an iPaaS plan with the eOne Transition Promotion would allow the customer to receive:

  • 60% off eOne’s iPaaS Business or iPaaS Premium Plan for 3 years at a locked price, and then 20% off for the following 3 years.
  • Access to both SmartConnect (cloud and on-premise) and Popdock (including SmartList Builder and SmartView) for a single bundled price.
  • Essential Support for both the SmartConnect and Popdock Plans that are included in the iPaaS item.

Getting pricing: Renewing iPaaS plans will be live on our site in the eOne Portal very soon. For the meantime, to get your exact pricing, contact our team letting us know the following information, and we’ll create a quote for you:

  • The customer name
  • Which iPaaS Plan the customer would like to move to (iPaaS Business or Premium)
  • The date that you’d like to renew through. Keep in mind that annual pre-payments are available in addition to the eOne Transition Promotion:
    • 5% off for an annual pre-payment
    • 10% off for pre-payment of 2 years of your subscription
    • 15% off for pre-payment of 3 years of your subscription

By 31 May 2025, log into the eOne portal and pay for at least 1 month of the next subscription.  This ensures the customer receives the duration of the benefits that they’ve already paid for and is started on the eOne Transition Promo. 

One note about this, you don’t have to take a customer off auto-pay while making another payment.  If you renew a customer manually on the eOne portal and that customer has had auto-pay turned on, then auto-pay will apply at the next renewal (expiry) date.

Why? This will ensure the customer gets started on the eOne Transition Promotion, and the customer will still receive the full length of their subscription plan that they’ve already paid for.

For example, if the customer has previously pre-paid for a subscription plan that expires on 30 June 2025, and they opt into Popdock Business with the eOne Transition Promotion paying for 12 months, they’ll:

  • Receive their existing plan benefits through 30 June 2025
  • Then start receiving the eOne Transition Promotion on 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026.

Yes. Considering customers need to opt into (and make their payment) by 31 May 2025, here’s what you’ll need to do.

The next step: Pay for the remaining months of your subscription where your current coupon is applying, plus (at least) one month.

Why? This will ensure you’ll receive the remaining length of time of your legacy pricing and the full discount from your current promotion. Then, by paying for one additional month, it ensures you get started on the eOne Transition Promotion to receive the 12-month step-up pricing after you’re done with your existing coupon.

As background, in April of 2024, eOne announced renewal options with the eOne Transition Promotions that would become available to existing customers who had been current on their SmartList Builder, SmartView, SmartConnect and Popdock licensing starting in the summer of 2024.

Starting 1 June 2024, customers who have been current on a Popdock subscription receive a 12-month step-up price on their subscription plan at their next renewal after 1 June 2024. The 12-month step-up pricing for existing customers is available here.

  • The eOne Transition Promo will be applied to Popdock, which includes a 60% discount off their Popdock Business or Premium Plan for 3 years with a locked price, and then 20% off Popdock for 3 more years.

    • Both SmartConnect On-Premise and SmartConnect.com are included.
    • Essential Support is also included with both SmartConnect Business and SmartConnect Premium.

    What is the eOne Transition Promotion available for SmartList Builder AEP customers?
  • The eOne Transition Promo will be applied to Popdock, which includes a 60% discount off their Popdock Business or Premium Plan for 3 years with a locked price, and then 20% off Popdock for 3 more years.

eOne is a SaaS subscription software business. Services/Products are set up on a subscription license and by default are renewed monthly.

A few of the Microsoft Dynamics GP products (Extender, Extender Enterprise, Flexicoder, Node Builder and SmartPost) offered by eOne are still available in a Perpetual licensing model. They are purchased one time and then have a 20% Annual Enhancement Plan. By renewing the AEP, one is entitled to Product Updates and Registration Keys as well as 2 support incidents per year.

Any subscription or perpetual license can be setup for Automatic Payments. The Frequency of the renewal will be setup as monthly by default but can be changed to yearly. Setting up a subscription for yearly renewal will qualify the renewal for a 5% discount.

If a subscription license is being purchased/renewed, setting up an automatic payment is required via Credit Card unless the length of the subscription is at least 1 year.

eOne Pricing Policy

When purchasing a new SaaS Subscription, a 1-year commitment is required. This means that the subscription cannot be cancelled for 1 year.

Some discounts and/or promotions that are offered by eOne may also have commitment periods on them.  This means that by agreeing to the discount, the subscription cannot be cancelled for that period of time.

eOne also offers Commitment Discounts on new sales and renewals. By agreeing to a 2- or 3-year commitment, the subscription renewal cannot be cancelled for that period of time. You will receive a discount for agreeing to this longer period of time.

eOne Pricing Policy

Yes, you can pre-pay & save:

  • Pre-pay for 1 year and save 5% on your subscription plan.
  • Pre-pay for 2 years and save 10% on your subscription plan.
  • Pre-pay for 3 years and save 15% on your subscription plan.
  • Prepay for 1 year and agree to a 2 year commitment and save 8% on your subscription plan.
  • Prepay for 1 year and agree to a 3 Year commitment and save 10% on your subscription plan.
