SmartConnect 2014 R2 Released
We are happy to announce that we have released SmartConnect 2014 R2.
Microsoft Dynamics GP Compatibility Changes:
With this release, SmartConnect is now compatible with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015. With that, this build of SmartConnect is compatible with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015, 2013, and 2010. Please note that it is no longer compatible with Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Compatibility:
With this release, SmartConnect is now compatible with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015.
Product Registration Changes:
The registration process has also changed for SmartConnect with this release. Instead of using the standard registration key that previous releases of SmartConnect have used, we are now using an Account Code.
The Account Code is an ID that is assigned to your company record and we can then pull in your product registration for you from our database. When you update to this R2 release of SmartConnect 2014, you are going to need to register it with your Account Code. You can obtain this Account Code by logging into the eOne site (www.eonesolutions.com) and going to the Registration Keys. If you do not have a login for the eOne site, please contact your Partner or eOne by calling 888-319-3663 or e-mailing info@eonesolutions.com.
Once you have the Account Code, you can enter the key in Smart Connect 2014 R2. The SmartConnect Registration window should automatically open when you launch SmartConnect until you enter the code. If it doesn’t, you can open it by going to Help – Registration.
Once you have entered in the Account Code and clicked Register, it will pull in your registration information including the Account Name, Registration Date, and Expiry Date for the Maintenance.

Are there any release notes for this?
Hello Nicole, what other new features / bug fixes are there with SC 2014r2 please?
Where to download SmartConnect for GP2015
Hi Nicole, could you please double-check the statement re losing GP 10.0 compatibility, I am getting conflicting advice on this and am being shown screenshots from R2 where GP10.0 CAN still be selected??
Thanks
Is this compatible with GP2015 R2?
Hi Jim – I apologize for the delayed response. Yes SmartConnect 2014 R2 is compatible with GP 2015 R2.
Hi,
Wanted to clarify … if I’m test-installing the SC 20.16.0.31 onto one of my GP 2015 Test server, will I later be able to re-register the product on a different server (i.e. my GP2013R2 production server) ? or will I have to un-register first this license and remove it before I can install and use it on the other server ?
Cheers – was there ever an answer to this one? I have my third instance set up for a dev environment and I want to move that to the QA. Is that possible?
John
Cheers – was there ever an answer to this one? I need to un(de) register on server but I can’t see how /where to do that.
Thanks
John.
Not any way to do that on your end. But if you send an email to support@eonesolution.com and let us know which one(s) you want to remove we can do it on our end.
