Trying to publish an Excel report from Excel Report Builder, but as soon as the publish button is pushed, receiving an error that says, “You do not have security privileges to publish this report”.
In GP 10 and prior only the sa user can publish an Excel report.
In Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 and above, any user will be able publish Excel Report Builder reports as long as certain criteria are met. Their GP SQL user must be one of the following:
sa user
DYNSA user
Any user in the db_owner database role in SQL
Any user in the SysAdmin fixed server role in SQL
