Beginning April 21, 2025, we are making some changes to our IP addresses that are part of our platform. A quick overview of the changes are as follows:
For connections that connect to a database on a local server, you will need to open a port to allow SmartConnect to access them. To protect your security, you can add firewall whitelist rules to only allow SmartConnect in. The IP addresses that require access vary depending on your app login url. If you are unsure of the region you are in for SmartConnect, you can determine it based on the URL after logging into SmartConnect.com as it should show as the subdomain. Note: The main NA region shows as “app.smartconnect.com” and the NA2 region shows as “na.smartconnect.com”. All other regions show as expected.
These are the new IP addresses that need to be added depending on the region you are utilizing for SmartConnect:
Region IP Address
NA | 65.52.210.62 |
NA2 | 52.240.136.14 |
NA3 | 23.96.251.81 |
UK | 4.158.17.221 |
EU | 98.64.254.79 |
EU2 | 20.56.189.201 |
AU | 20.11.111.142 |
If your organization has whitelisted other IP addresses for SmartConnect.com in the past, this new IP needs to be added to that whitelist to ensure SmartConnect continues to function correctly with your processes as the old list of IP addresses will no longer be valid. If your organization has not whitelisted anything for SmartConnect, no action is needed. This will be the only IP address needed going forward.
