If a user needs to build or manage custom lists, follow these guidelines for assigning roles:

System Roles
  • None required
Connector Roles
  • CustomListContributor
Grants the ability to create new custom lists and edit or update existing ones.
  • Reader
Allows the user to view connector details and metadata. Users can see information about the connector and its settings but cannot make changes. This role is required as it allows you to edit the connector and access custom lists.
  • User
Allows viewing data from the connector. Access is limited to the companies, lists, actions, and details that you explicitly grant permissions to.

Notes on Deleting Custom Lists

  • To delete a custom list, the user needs the CustomListAdministrator role. This role allows them to delete any list they have been granted access to.
  • Users automatically have permission to delete lists they created.
  • If the list was created by another user, they will need explicit permission to delete it.
