When importing a NetSuite Invoice Item, you may receive an error similar to this:

You have only 0 available for commitment across all locations (0 back ordered, 0 on order).

Inventory error

Reason

NetSuite Inventory Level Warnings is the reason for the error. The SmartConnect integration will fail for this NetSuite Warning setting. 

Steps to resolve

  1. Log in to NetSuite and navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
  2. Find the Role used to create the token for the connection in SmartConnect and edit it.
  3. On the Preferences tab, either add or edit the Inventory Level Warnings preference and make the value False.

  1. Save the changes.
  2. Run the integration again and verify that the error no longer occurs.
