Creating a SmartConnect map and none of the ‘After Map’ or ‘After Document’ scripts appear to be running. My ‘Pre Map’ and ‘Pre Document’ scripts are running fine.
This is by design if your map destination is set to ‘Microsoft Dynamics GP – File’ or ‘Microsoft Dynamics CRM – File’. The reasoning behind this is that the ‘File’ destination is typically used for troubleshooting maps. Normally the ‘After’ scripts are used to either flag records as imported, move or delete data files, or send email notifications of map success or failure. When you send a map to file, you normally will not want these types of events to occur as the data is not actually being sent into Dynamics GP .
