When logging into Great Plains, receiving an error that says “A countrecords operation on table ‘[Not found]’ failed accessing SQL data” followed by “[Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Invalid column name ‘PT_Palette_ID'”

This can happen if a service pack for Great Plains has been applied on an installation that has the eOne version of eXtender loaded. What has happened is that the service pack has attempted to convert the eOne version of eXtender to the Microsoft version and renamed some column names. In order to convert your table structure back to the eOne format, you need to download and run a script in SQL Server Query Analyzer. The script needs to be run in each company database where you are encountering the error. The script can be downloaded here.
