When using an Excel sample template with SmartConnect, receiving an error that says “SmartConnect Webservice : Data could not be validated” when you hit the submit button.
You need to enable Automatic Formula calculation in Excel for the templates to work. Click on the Office Button, then the Excel Options button. Then click on Formulas on the left side. In the calculation options, make sure “Automatic” is checked in the Workbook calculation options.
