You will receive this error if the machine running the web service does not have a Great Plains client installed on it. To fix it you need to remove these lines from the Web.Config file. The file is located in the C:\Program Files\eOne Integrated Business Solutions\www directory. Open the Web.Config file in Notepad and remove the following 3 lines.
Restart the web service If you have a GP client on your machine, and you are still getting the error, it means you do not have the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 installed. Download and install the .NET Framework 3.0 from the Microsoft website.
