When using the Excel templates for SmartConnect, receiving an error that says “Compile error: User-defined type not defined” You also might get an error that says “Compile error: Can’t find project or library”
The SmartConnect Excel templates require that the Microsoft SOAP Toolkit 3.0 be downloaded. You can download this from the Microsoft website here: SOAP Toolkit 3.0
