The Unit of Measure does not exist. Identification fields and values

In the example below, I was attempting to import Items into Microsoft Dynamics NAV and received the following error message: “Failed to create record with keys No = TestA-1000 and No = TestA-1000″. The Unit of Measure does not exist. Identification fields and values: Code = ‘PCS’.”

To correct this, I setup the missing Unit of Measure in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Using the Microsoft Dynamics help menu, I searched for the Units of Measure setup window and simply added the missing Code (PCS).

Once this value was added to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, my Item import was successful.
