Trying to setup the CRM Connector.  I have put “crm.dynamics.com” as the CRM server URL and put in my user name and password, and I receive the error “Failed to connect to the CRM server : Failed to get CRM Organizations : Access is denied”.  I have triple checked my username and password and they are correct.

The URL “crm.dynamics.com” is for North American installations only.  You need to change the URL depending on what region your CRM is provisioned in.   Make sure you are using the URL for your region when you setup the connector.

North America – crm.dynamics.com

South America – crm2.dynamics.com

Canada – crm3.dynamics.com

EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) – crm4.dynamics.com

APAC (Asia Pacific) – crm5.dynamics.com

Australia – crm6.dynamics.com

Japan – crm7.dynamics.com

India – crm8.dynamics.com

North America 2-for Government – crm9.dynamics.com

United Kingdom – crm11.dynamics.com

Microsoft Cloud Germany – crm.microsoftdynamics.de
