Popdock is a powerful data visualization tool that allows users to combine data from multiple sources into a single interface. One of the key features of Popdock is the ability to create widget groups. Widget groups help organize and display data in a meaningful way, making it easier to interpret and analyze. This guide will walk you through the steps to create widget groups in Popdock.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- A Popdock account with the necessary permissions to create and manage widgets.
- Data sources connected to your Popdock account.
- Widgets created that you would like to add to a widget group.
Steps to Create Widget Groups

2. From the main menu, select Widgets.

Creating a Widget Group
1. On the widget page, select Groups from the left navigation pane.
2. Select Add widget group.
3. Give your widget group a name.

Configuring the Widget Group
1. In the Widgets section of the Add widget group window, select the widgets you want to add to the group.

3. You can also add widgets by selecting Widgets in the left navigation pane, after you have created the group.

4. Select Tabs on the left to create your tabs for your widgets. Click Add tab and then create your tabs.

5. To assign widgets to a tab, select Widgets. When you first create tabs, the widgets will be assigned to the first tab. Click the arrow button to move a widget to another tab.

6. From the left navigation, click on Options.

7. Select any options you want to turn on/off for your widget group.

Previewing and Implementing the Widget Group
1. From the left navigation, click on Preview.

2. Here you can preview what your widget group will look like.
3. From the left navigation, click on Embed codes.

4. From the Type drop-down, you can select Widget ID, Link, or IFrame code. These can be used to embed your widget group to another environment.
Managing Widget Groups
1. Editing the order of your tabs: From the Widgets page, click the drag handle to change the order in which they display in your Widget Group.

2. Deleting your tabs: From the Tabs page, click Delete next to the tab(s) you would like to delete. You cannot delete a tab if widgets are assigned to it. You would need to move the widgets to another tab first.
