When you create a new company in Microsoft Dynamics GP, you need to add your eConnect service account to the DYNGRP for the newly created company otherwise you will get login errors, or missing procedure errors when you run maps into the new company.

To do this, first find the user that is assigned to the eConnect service. Do this by going into Windows services, right clicking on the “eConnect for Microsoft Dynamics GP 20XX Integration Service” and clicking on properties. Then go to the login tab, and write down the user ID that is configured in there. The screen will look like this. In this case, my eConnect user is named eondemoSVC_ECONNECT.

Go into SQL management studio, and go to Security – Logins and find that user account.  Right click on the user, and select Properties
SQL Management User

When the Login Properties window opens, go to the User Mapping page.  Mark the checkbox next to the newly created GP company, and then while the company is highlighted, click on the DYNGRP down in the role membership window.  The user should have the DYNGRP role, and also the public role.

Click OK on the Login Properties window and attempt to run the map into the new company.
