This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating a new team named “AI Admin” in Popdock’s Security settings, adding the MCP (Model Context Protocol) Administrator role to it, and adding users to the team. Finally, you’ll sign out and back in to confirm the MCP option is visible once setup is complete.
Overview
Teams in Popdock allow you to create a set of shared user permissions. Users who are members of a team can share connector access, security roles, and favorites. This guide covers the following tasks:
- Navigating from the Home page to Security and then Teams.
- Creating a new team called “AI Admin”.
- Adding the MCP Administrator role to the team.
- Adding users to the team.
- Signing out and back in to verify the MCP option is now available.
Step 1: Open the Main Menu
From the Popdock Home page, select the menu icon in the top-left corner to open the main menu.
The Popdock Home page shows your dashboard with charts, data, and app shortcuts. The menu icon is located in the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select Security
After you select the menu icon, the left navigation panel expands. Scroll down and select Security near the bottom of the main menu.
Step 3: Go to the Security Page
Selecting Security takes you to the Security section, which defaults to the Users tab. You can see the full list of users in your organization.
The Security section contains the following sub-sections in the left sidebar:
- Users – Manage user accounts
