Cadran Consultancy: ERP Experts for Manufacturing and Trade

Cadran Consultancy, founded in 1998 by a team of experienced software consultants, helps businesses improve how they manage their operations. Based in the Netherlands, they work with over 100 companies each year, with a specialty in wholesale, manufacturing, and trading. “Cadran specializes in a couple of verticals,” said Yuri Visser, Oracle NetSuite Integration Lead. “We’re especially strong in the manufacturing area, and some feedback we receive from customers and competitors is, ‘Whenever a project gets complex, they knock on our door to build that solution for them.”

Cadran has been a trusted NetSuite partner since Oracle acquired the platform. As part of Redfaire International—a global alliance of Oracle ERP partners operating in over 23 countries—Cadran supports businesses around the world with ERP setup and support. What sets Cadran apart is its ability to understand how each business works and to adapt ERP systems to fit those specific needs. Their experience helps companies stay flexible, grow, and succeed in changing markets.

We’ve worked side by side with the eOne team to get customers live and to bring the right tooling to NetSuite. Our team has even acted as a kind of testing center to help move the project forward. The responsiveness and collaboration from eOne really makes it feel like a partnership.

Poor Support and Rising Costs Push Cadran to Make the Switch to SmartConnect

Cadran began looking for a new integration partner after a previous integration partner was no longer meeting expectations. The tipping point? A mix of contract changes, rising costs, and a wave of complaints about subpar customer support.

“We had customers who were quite unhappy with their integration experience and were hesitant to pursue additional projects, either due to the challenges with the previous provider or concerns about the high costs involved.” Visser said.

Between the contract blunder, poor customer support, and rising costs, Cadran began looking for an integration partner that better matched their values.

“And that’s when we found eOne Solutions,” Visser said.

Cadran & eOne Solutions: A Strong Partnership for Smarter ERP Integration

Marcel Van Es, Commercial Manager of NetSuite at Cadran Consultancy, said the relationship began at SuiteWorld 2022 through a connection with Tim Darcy from Contivio, a sister company of eOne Solutions. “From the start, our interaction with eOne was open and transparent—something we weren’t used to with previous integration partners,” said Van Es.

Cadran chose to partner with eOne based on strong customer references and a clear commitment to expanding Popdock support for NetSuite. “We were in direct contact with eOne’s leadership about those plans, and that gave us a lot of confidence,” said Van Es.

Since then, the collaboration has grown into a true partnership. “We’ve worked side by side with the eOne team to get customers live and to bring the right tooling to NetSuite. Our team has even acted as a kind of testing center to help move the project forward. The responsiveness and collaboration from eOne really makes it feel like a partnership,” said Van Es.

Cadran was the first eOne Solutions partner in the Benelux region, and this partnership has enabled them to connect Oracle NetSuite with other critical systems. Using the eOne iPaaS (SmartConnect and Popdock), Cadran can offer its customers integration to virtually any solution, including eCommerce platforms, CRMs, and reporting tools.

Together, eOne Solutions and Cadran help businesses get more value from their systems by keeping everything connected and running smoothly.

eOne Solutions Simplifies the Integration Experience & Reduces Costs for Cadran’s NetSuite Customers

Cadran is simplifying life for its customers by offering hands-on support and cost-effective integration tools. As an eOne Solutions partner, the company now manages SmartConnect and Popdock environments directly, eliminating the confusion customers face when trying to figure out who to call for help.

Previously, if an integration or customization issue popped up in NetSuite, customers had to choose between contacting Cadran or their previous integration partner. That led to delays and frustration. Now, there’s one support desk that handles it all, routing issues to the right internal member.

“It’s made a noticeable difference in customer satisfaction,” Visser said. “Customers know exactly where to go when something needs fixing.”

Cost savings are another major win. Customers are now spending less on their SmartConnect environments than they did with previous setups. And the savings don’t stop at monthly fees. Specific integration projects are delivering long-term efficiency.

Wentzel, one of Cadran’s customers, made the switch to SmartConnect after becoming dissatisfied with the previous integration provider. They were frustrated by high costs, limited flexibility, and neglectful support staff.

“They had a long list of integrations they wanted to do but were holding off because of the expense,” Visser said. “They came to us and asked, ‘Do you have a different solution for us?’ At the time, we were just getting started with eOne and SmartConnect, so the first project we did with them was the Smart Order Entry solution, and within a couple of days, their first automated sales order was live.”

As Visser pointed out, the standout example is the Smart Order Entry solution. Instead of manually entering data from customer emails and PDFs, SmartConnect automatically creates sales orders in NetSuite. What used to be a time-consuming task is now handled instantly, saving both time and money.

The switch to SmartConnect paid off quickly. Cadran not only automated the process but also supported complex business logic that Wentzel couldn’t get with their former provider.

For customers with multiple integration needs, Cadran sees SmartConnect as a dependable, scalable, and affordable choice. “Let us help you by offering you the eOne iPaaS, and you’ll also have the benefit of—whenever you have an issue with it—you can call Cadran, and we’ll fix it.”

Final Thoughts

Visser had thoughts for any company considering partnering with eOne: “Just do it,” he said. “NetSuite integration partners that are looking to partner with eOne, I would absolutely tell the story, and how I am experiencing the partnership, and how positive I am about it.”

Visser described the relationship as a genuine partnership rather than the standard vendor-client dynamic. He highlighted the responsiveness and reliability of the support team, noting that technical questions are addressed quickly and accurately. Even when issues require more time, he says answers are consistently delivered within a few days, reinforcing his confidence in the collaboration.

“That’s a very positive thing,” Visser said. “Furthermore, what I enjoy is that you take the feedback for SmartConnect and Popdock seriously.” Visser went on to say that any time his company has requested improvements, they’re implemented within the next release or thereafter. “In the past year, there hasn’t been a single SmartConnect release that didn’t have something we specifically requested. That really builds confidence for me in this partnership.”

Looking Ahead

“Our goals for this year are to find more customers and to be able to be empowered to position SmartConnect as much as we can,” Visser said, emphasizing the team’s focus on helping clients automate processes and eliminate manual work in NetSuite. He added that reducing human error and increasing productivity are central to their mission, with the ultimate aim of growing their integration team and scaling to support more projects.

“I hope eOne can help us with the tough requirement that our customers have as far as functionality, performance, and amounts of data,” Visser added, “but I have full confidence that we’re going to get there.”
