If you missed out on SmartConnect Office Hours last week, here is a quick summary of what we covered on Friday, May 29th, 2020:
We’re going to be taking a summer break from SmartConnect Office Hours, but we will resume in the fall. If you want to stay up to date on other eOne content, make sure to subscribe to out blog.
Also, we love hearing from our SmartConnect customers and partners about topics they’d like us to cover. If you have topic suggestions for when we resume, you can email them to officehours@eonesolutions.com.
- Our topic of the day was Business Central Change Data Source
- We discussed:
- Installing the extension
- Configuring the data source in SmartConnect

I tried what was shown in the demo to capture the Change Tracking for the customers table, the extension was installed successfully and I was able to validate connections and created my BC OData Change Data Source, however, the change tracking doesn’t seem to work to capture new records. The eOne Change Maintenance window is empty.
I even tried it on a different table Customer LEdger Entry. It also doesn’t work so my map is not able to import data.
