What Are Webhooks?

In this video, eOne will go over what Webhooks are, and how they transform SmartConnect. We will explain that Webhooks are a way for one system to send real-time data to another system as soon as a specific event occurs. Instead of waiting for scheduled intervals, your integration can trigger based on important events happening across your apps. SmartConnect has previously offered event-driven automation within dedicated connections for apps like Dynamics 365 Business Central, Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales, and file/folder triggers, and now, SmartConnect.com supports subscribing to Webhook functionality in REST API’s.
