How to Remove Old Schedule Servers in SmartConnect (2018 & 21)
Seeing old or inactive servers listed in SmartConnect that no longer exist? You’re not alone—and unfortunately, there’s no way to remove them directly from the UI in SmartConnect 2018. In this video, we explain why these servers appear in the first place, how the SmartConnect Schedule Service registers itself, and why running multiple schedule servers isn’t recommended.
You’ll also learn how to safely identify and remove outdated server entries by querying the ScheduleServer table and using SQL or SSMS to clean things up. We’ll also touch on how this behavior carries over into SmartConnect 21—even though the Schedule Servers window has been removed.
