How to Navigate The SmartConnect Error: ‘$filter cannot be empty’

In this video, we will explain how to navigate this SmartConnect error: '$filter cannot be empty'

You may be getting this error if you're using a D365 Business Central OData Query Source. Sometimes, a variable used in a D365 Business Central query is empty, therefore causing D365 Business Central to throw the error because it won't allow you to filter on an empty value. In order to solve this, we can check to see if the variable you are setting is blank and cancel the process. This video will demonstrate how to do this and get past that error.
