2025 is a pivotal year. Not just for what we’re delivering today, but for how we’re setting up the platform to serve our customers long into the future. This ranges from UI modernization and user experience upgrades to behind-the-scenes architectural improvements. Everything we’re doing has one goal: to make SmartConnect faster, more powerful, and more aligned with how our customers work.

SmartConnect Roadmap 2025

Key Initiatives

SmartConnect is moving to a modern, react-based UI, aligning it with the Popdock interface. This update not only provides a consistent user experience across eOne products but also enables our development teams to collaborate more effectively. 

This includes: 

  • Shared UI 
  • Shared development resources 
  • Closer alignment between eOne products 

Improve User Experience 

The current architecture presents limitations in performance, scalability, and long-term extensibility. With this transition, we’re laying the groundwork for a more modern, efficient platform—unlocking new capabilities that empower both consultants and end users to work faster, smarter, and with greater visibility.

SmartConnect has been on the market for over 15 years, and in that time, the systems we connect to and the requirements from our partners and customers have grown more complex.
