Curious to meet the master behind the eOne website? Today’s your lucky day, meet Bob Christianson, our IT Director/Web Developer! After pulling him away from fixing the latest laptop incident, he shared a few things about himself with us below:

Do you have any nicknames people should know about? 
Well, when I first started Martin had issues with saying the “O” properly in Bob so I was Bub for a short time.

When did you start and what do you do at eOne?
December 9th, 2013. I handle all the day to day IT stuff and also do Development on the website and some new things to come.

What is something really awesome that you’ve done lately at eOne?
I think some of the biggest things are all the little things I take care of so everyone else can focus on our customers. Making sure everyone’s laptops are working, taking care of servers so the Dev team can keep developing and helping to make our website the best it can be so our partners and customers can have the best possible experience (but seriously check out our website – he’s improved it immensely since he started).

What are you passionate about outside of work?
Oddly enough, I make stuff out of leather. Wallets mostly but a few other things as well. It gets me away from computers and there is just something relaxing about working with your hands when you have been figuring out problems and solving issues all day.

What’s on your bucket list?
I am a fairly simple person, my bucket list consists of being the best husband and dad that I can be. I figure if I can do that right, I will have accomplished the biggest item on my list of life.

Any eOne memories that first come to mind?
Daily. Really there are too many to count. There have been incidents with unicycles, leaf blowers, doubles ping pong matches that you can’t get through without falling over laughing and so forth. Martin has fostered a culture here that makes people want to come to work, rather than dread it.

What’s playing in your headphones?
Anything from Violent Femmes to All Sons & Daughters. A lot of 80’s – 90’s as well. No country though. That stuff makes you want to hate life.
