Removing a NetSuite Real-Time trigger

The SmartConnect NetSuite Real-Time trigger works in conjunction with the native NetSuite SuiteScript file. The SuiteScript file is generated dynamically when clicking the Register button on the NetSuite Real-Time Data Source and is specific to NetSuite Real-Time Data Source and NetSuite entity. This SuiteScript file is not automatically removed when a Real-Time Data Source is unregistered or deleted. The file will need to be manually removed from NetSuite.

Delete the Script Record in NetSuite

  1. Log into NetSuite as a user with access to publish Scripts.
  2. Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments.

  1. Add the filter TYPE= “User Event”.
  2. Add a filter on RECORD TYPE for the record type your real-time data source was referencing.

  1. Click on the Script link

  1. Click Edit on the Script Record
  2. Select Actions > Delete

This process will remove the trigger from NetSuite, but not make any changes to the integration in SmartConnect.
