In the Dynamics GP connector, the default Payables Transaction list includes a Distributions detail that displays the distribution information for the selected transaction. Previously, the displayed data could be incorrect because the filter did not account for the transaction’s document type.
As of 12/12/2024, new connectors will include an updated filter by default. However, if you added the Dynamics GP connector before this date, you will need to manually apply a fix to ensure the correct data is displayed in the Distributions details section. Follow the steps below to update the filter.
To perform these steps the user must have these roles and permissions, at a minimum, set in Security:
Dynamics GP Connector Security:
- User role (to run the list)
- Contributor role (to make changes to the list)
- Permissions to a company in the connector, the Payables Transaction list, and the Distributions detail.
Steps to Apply the Fix:
1. Open the Payables Transaction List:
- Navigate to the tab where the Payables Transaction list is located.
- Click the Edit button to edit the list.

2. Access the Details Section:
- From the left navigation menu, select Details.
- Click the Edit icon next to the Distributions detail.

3. Update the Filters:
- From the left navigation menu, select Filters.
- Locate the existing filter where Voucher Number = Voucher Number.
- Select Add another filter.

4. Add the Document Type Filter:
- From the dropdown menus, add the filter Document type = Document type.
- For the Value dropdown, make sure to click the icon to edit the dropdown option, then choose Compare fields first, then click the dropdown to select Document type.

5. Verify the Fix:
- Return to the Payables Transaction list and test the updated Distributions details section to confirm that the correct data is now displayed.
By applying this filter update, you ensure the Distributions details reflect accurate information for transactions, regardless of document type. For any questions or additional support, contact the eOne support team.
