We are using the Bulk Data Load Data Source Type and Text File Data Source. We can select our file but when we try the preview we get the error message “ERROR [42S02][Microsoft][ODBC Text Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object ‘Customers.2015.12.13.csv’. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly.”
The file cannot be read by the Microsoft ODBC Text Driver because there are multiple periods in the file name. The resolution is to remove the extra periods or replace them with underscores.
The same error will occur if using the ODBC Connection Data Source.
