When opening the SmartConnect.chm file for SmartConnect 2011, receiving an error on every page that says “Navigation to the webpage was canceled”.
There are two things that can cause this:
1. CHM files cannot be read from a network drive. You must have the CHM file on your local machine in order to open it.
2. The file is being blocked by Windows security. To unblock it, right click on the file and select “Properties”. On the “General” tab click in the “Unblock” button.
