When installing SmartView, it appears that the views have only created in one company. What are the steps to create them in additional companies?
SmartView automatically creates the views in the first company you log into after the product is installed. In order to create the views in the other companies, the following steps need to be performed:
1. Login to another company as the sa user. (You need to be in as sa in order to create views)
2. Launch SmartView and go to File – Maintenance – Create/update views. The views will then get created in the company you are logged into. You will need to repeat the process in each additional company. In order to confirm the views have been created, go into SQL Server Management Studio and open up the company database. Expand the “Views” object.
