When running a map using the Excel Add-In for SmartConnect, when the map is finished running, receiving a message that has the map name in it, and nothing else. It does not display successes or errors, or anything else but the map name in an empty message box with an OK button on it. The map runs fine when inside of SmartConnect

This typically means one of two things.
1. Your Excel spreadsheet has some rows in it where the key field is blank, or the entire row is blank. What is happening is that the map is trying to group the data by the key field, and if you have any blank rows in your file, you will receive this error. The solution is to delete any blank rows from your Excel spreadsheet before running the map.
2. This can also be caused by having spaces in your column names of your Excel Spreadsheet. The map will run fine in SmartConnect, however it will return an error when run from the Excel Add-In. In order to resolve it, you will need to remove all your spaces in your column names and replace them with underscores. Then you will need to open up the map in SmartConnect and remap the columns where you changed the names. After performing the above steps, the map will run fine from SmartConnect and from the Excel Add-In for SmartConnect.
