The request failed with HTTP status 405: Method Not Allowed

Running a map using the WCF Webservice returns the error message “The Request failed with HTTP status 405: Method Not Allowed”.

Typically, this indicates an issue with the Real time and SmartList web service URL, which is found under the SmartConnect Dynamics GP Connector.

To correct this issue, log in to SmartConnect as an Administrator and go to Setup>Setup>SmartConnect Dynamics GP Connector. Be sure to remove the back slash “/”at the end of the URL address (example below) and save your changes.

You will need to run the SmartConnect System Maintenance (Setup>System Maintenance) after updating the Web Service URL.


Incorrect:  http://eone-2014:5557/SmartConnect.svc/

 Correct: http://eone-2014:5557/SmartConnect.svc
