In the example below, I was attempting to import Items into Microsoft Dynamics NAV and received the following error message: “Failed to create record with keys No = 1000 and No = 1000″. The field Inventory Posting Group of table Item contains a value (FINISHED) that cannot be found in the related table (Inventory Posting Group).”
To correct this, I setup the missing Inventory Posting Groups in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Using the Microsoft Dynamics help menu, I searched for the Inventory Posting Groups and simply added the missing Code (FINISHED).
Once these values were added to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, my Items import was successful.
