Failed to retrieve data from source: Attempting to select a readonly publisher for solution


This error occurs when attempting to create a Dynamics 365 CRM Change Data Source. The cause is a publisher with the prefix eone already exists in CRM and is assigned to a managed solution.



 If possible, remove the managed solution that is published with the prefix eone.


If this is not possible, connect SmartConnect to another CRM Organization that does not include the managed solution. Here you can create the change tracking entity and plug-in without issue. Once they are created, export them as a solution and import into the original organization.
