Upgrade/transition from GP10
[quote=rcarsten]Well, I missed that part so am attempting to recover but not having much success and hoping you can give me some direction.
What I have done:
1. I had already installed eOne SLB so I removed it from the Dynamics.set, removed dictionary file and two add-ins from install.
2. Launch GP to insure it is functional.
3. Added MS SLB and ran GP Utilities upgrading DYNAMICS and all company databases.
4. Launch GP2013 and went to SLB, lookup SLB objects and attempt to open one, get error pasted below. I assumed this is what was intended by step 17 on page 28 or manual where instructed to Log into GP and verify that SLB has updated.
5. Closed GP, launched again, now no SLB and if I attempt to click a link to the tool it says it isn't registered which makes sense since SLB is no longer included in the MS registration keys.
6. Ran the eOne SLB SmartListBuilder12.msi (12.00.0056).
7. Launched GP logged in as sa, Yes to include new code, ok to "needs to finish installing" message.
8. wait awhile, check registration = OK, try to open SLB object and get error below.
How can I recover from this error?
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Could not find stored procedure 'DYNAMICS.dbo.zDP_SLB10100F_1'.
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'Extender_Type'.
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'Extender_ID'.

SmartList Builder needs to be upgraded from the GP install before installing the eOne version from the download. There's a section in the manual that will explain the process that can be found on the SmartList Builder Downloads page.

Was SmartList Builder used on the GP10 install?
Yes. I just logged into the GP10 install and successfully opened a number of the SLB objects with no error.

I've got the same error message in the 'DEXSQL' log. Any solution for this, please?
