I’m reviewing this upgrade help. If I were to move from say sql 2014 to sql 2019. Does the version of smart connect 20.17.0.17 still work ?
Or should I upgrade SC in 2014 to latest, and move it to SQL 2019 with the latest version.

While there should be no issues with running SC 2014 on SQL 2019, I would recommend upgrading SmartConnect to 20.18.1.49 on the current SQL server. Then upgrade SQL to 2019.
