Upgrade issue – error on startup

 I am upgrading a client’s smartconnect and GP. When I launch SmartConnect, I am given an error “Unhandled exception has occurred in your application….Could not save record”. 
Please help as we need to get smartconnect up and running.

Think you had opened a support case on this.  And if I recall the solution was to updated from SC 10 to SC 2013 and then go to SC 2014 R2.
