Source columns missing in MAP PRE TASK

How do I get the source column to populate in the TASKS THAT RUN BEFORE THE MAP, if I want it to run a script? When I click on source columns, the source field names are not there.

Troy, you can’t get the source columns on the Tasks that run before the map because the source has not been read yet. The source columns are not available until the Map Data Checks task.
The only method would be to write your own Script that would read the data to handle what you need.
