SmartConnect Workstation install – error WindowsService.exe could not be installed.

Logged in with an Admin Account to workstation.
Running the install and get this message:
eOne.SmartConnect.WindowsService.exe could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.
I do have Full access to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Wow6432Node \ eOneSolutions .
What else should I check?

Have you tried running the install process by right-clicking on the exe and choosing run as admin. Also, make sure you have extracted the zip file before clicking on the exe. Also, here is a an article that points to troubleshooting security errors like this: https://kb.parallels.com/en/124091

Chris I am having the same issue. I was logged in as an admin and right-clicked to run as admin but still unable to install SmartConnect. We also ran through the issues in the link provided. do you have any other suggestions for this issue? I cannot install SmartConnect after an upgrade on the user workstations.
