SmartConnect User Permissions

johnellis asked 10 years ago
Hello:

I had been told by eOne tech support that the SmartConnect Windows Service user does not need to be given domain admin permissions.  But, at the very least, it needs to be the local admin on the SQL server, the web server, and any machine (workstation) that is going to run eConnect.

Is there a document or KB article that speks to this?  An IT person at one of our clients would like to have such a document.

Thanks!

John
