Scheduled map does not kick off on schedule intermittently
I have scheduled map monitoring input folder which is set to run every 30 min. I do observe strange behavior of the map not actually kicking off on occasion. For example, in the map logs I see – it has kicked off at 9:15am, had to files to process and has completed successfully. Then next run I see in the log is the one from 10:15am when it has processed some files and 9:45am run has never taken place.
eOneSmartConnect Windows service seems to be running ok, it didn’t stop etc.
Would you have any suggestions of what may cause such strange behavior of the scheduled map?
Eugene, Is the other run occurring on another machine? Check if there are other schedule servers setup.
SmartConnect > Setup > Schedule Servers.
Make sure the time on the SQL server is the same as the SmartConnect schedule server.
I did check and there is only one schedule server setup in my SC – the one where SC itself is running.
As for the server date/time on SQL Server and box with the SC – they are the same.
Is there anything else I should check?
I recommend submitting a support ticket at email@example.com. Someone from our support team will need to take a look at your environment for something that looks out of place.
