Primary Pay Code in Employee Maintenance

Hello:
I successfully built a map that imports employee pay codes into GP 2010's Employee Pay Code Maintenance window through SmartConnect from a SQL table.
The only field that I cannot get a handle on, as simple as it looks, is the "Primary Pay Code" checkbox in that window.
I have tried a million ways to tell the map "If the pay code column = "SALY", then check the box for Primary Pay Code, else don't check it".
Nothing is working. Does the field not exist in this map?
Do I need to run a SQL script as an end task after success?
