No settings are available when creating Real-Time Microsoft GP data source for the map

I am trying to create new map with data source being Real Time GP data source. But when I pick Data Source Type as “Real Time Event” and Data Source as “Microsoft GP Real-Time Data Source” – I see no options to select from for “Product”, “Series” or “Table”.
I launch SmartConnect using “Run as administrator”.
I also checked “Real Time Data Sources” menu option and when I select “Microsoft GP Real-Time Data Source”, nothing is displayed.

Make sure you have run the Dynamics GP Resource Cache with the SmartConnect Dynamics GP Add-In. If you did not install the SmartConnect Dynamics GP Add-In there will not be a menu option to run the resource cache.

You will also need to set up the real-time data source first after the step above has been completed.

I followed the steps and able now to create my real time GP data sources and use them in maps.
