New Upgrade GP2013 – GP2018

Hello All,
 
We recently upgraded GP and SmartConnect. We are getting the following error when we try to switch companies.
 
Cannot open database “DYNAMICS” requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user ‘SCUser’.
 
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Looks like I found the problem. When they upgraded the software, they used a users not in our SQL server. Maybe it was a default user name.
I went into the connections and entered the correct name and password.
