Lost drill-down functionality

Mark asked 8 years ago
Before installing SmartList Builder on my GP 2013, I could run a smartlist of GL transactions and click on any one of the results to drill back to the source transaction, whether it was a regular GL entry, AP transaction, whatever.

Now that SmartList Builder is installed, when I click on one of the GL transactions it opens a blank GL entry screen.  I completely lost the ablility to run a smartlist, click on one of the results, and drill back to the transaction.

This makes SmartList Builder more than useless to me, its actually damaging my productivity.

How do I get the drill down functionality back?

Installing SmartList Builder should not affect the default SmartLists that come with GP and SmartList unless you modified it using SmartList Builder. The Go To functionality pulls from the SmartList Dictionary until you modify it in SmartList Builder.

Is it just the Account Transactions SmartList that the Go To’s don’t work on our is it all of the SmartLists?

If you open SmartList Builder and select Existing for the SmartList Type, in the SmartList ID drop down, do any of them have an asterick (*) behind the name?

Thanks for the help, but I unistalled SmartList Builder.  The ablility to drill down returned immediately.  I haven't used the product to create a new smart list yet, so all the ones I am using are my old ones.

I ran 3 or 4 different old smartlists and they all behaved the same way.

I wish I could get my money back.

Hi Matt.  We would like to take a look at your issue in more detail if you don't mind.  If that's okay could you send an email into support@eonesolutions.com per Jared and we will setup a time to look into this more.

Hi Jared,

A customer of ours also ran into this, were you guys able to confirm if this is a known issue?

Thanks!
