GL Journal Entry Template – Error Blank

Hi,
I’m using the EOne SmartConnect Excel template for the GL Journal Entry on MS Office 2016, but when I hit the submit button I get a error message that has nothing more than a yellow triangle. It has blank text without a title.
Within the configuration of the template, I have everything configured correctly, but when I hit Update and to refresh all database, I do get login errors. If I use a trusted connection, it works. IE is configured to the correct settings.
Any assistance here would be helpful.
